• The main hall area is approximately 13 x 7 metres.
• There is a raised stage area at one end of the hall approximately 3 x 7 metres.
• The hall has a screen and audio visual equipment which can be hired for a small fee plus a refundable deposit.
• There is capacity to cater for up to 100 people (for practical and insurance reasons).
• It has very basic kitchen facilities i.e. sink, hot water, cups and saucers, microwave and fridge. It has not been certified for the preparation of food. ( see FAQs for more details).
• It has a bar area with a drinks fridge and double sink.
• There is parking for approximately 40cars although please note that during term time the local school do use it for parking.
• There is potential to have additional facilities located in the car park or on the recreational field subject to prior agreement of  East Ruston Poor's Allotment Trustees.
• Portable lightweight ramps are provided for wheelchair access to the hall.

Community events: The hourly rate for community events £7.00. (Pro rata for every 15mins set up and break down time). No VAT is applicable. As of 1st April 2022 the hourly rate will be £8.00 Monday to Friday 6.00pm. From Friday 6.00pm to 12.00 midnight on Sunday the hire charge will be £10.00 per hour.

Commercial activities: Please contact the Booking Clerk. No VAT is applicable.

Insurance: the Village Hall has  Public Liability Insurance up to £10 million which covers non-profit making activities only. All commercial enterprises must have their own separate business cover and this should be in place before hiring commences.

Bouncy Castles: Due to both insurance and practical reasons the hall cannot be used for children's bouncy castles.
